Karen, I liked your Rib eye Steak Adventure story. BTW feel free to Thread-Jack anytime. 

Portions have been a concern for me. Sometimes I weigh my food. I am trying to see if there is a difference if I eat 8 oz of fatty beef brisket or 6oz. if I feel satisfied with the smaller amount then that’s ok. Another aspect I need to observe is if I will get hungry faster because of the smaller amount. For me it’s important. I rather, for instance, eat 2 more ounces of meat and not have to eat another meal for the day. On the other hand, if I am satisfied with the two ounces less why eat more than I require. I understand everyday is different; I am just trying to find a balance. When my weight is where it should be. I would probably look at this with different eyes. If nothing else, it keeps me interested an excited about this WOE.

It is easy for me to overeat. It’s not hard to get into an eating frenzy if I like the taste of the meat I am eating especially when it is greasy ribs . Sometimes I have to tell myself enough is enough and just stop. LOL
