5/3/2012 - The Experiment 2.0 Day 27

Friends, Family and Countrymen lend me your ear. My Spirits are on the up and up. My Energy levels are OK.

So how is the EXPERIMENT going? What can I say ? Considering it all I am somewhat pleased, yet I want more. It seems that I just can't hit that high note as I did on the very first two weeks of the start when I first tried it. I was really shooting to lose 1.6 to 2 lbs a day. My average is more like 0.6 lbs a day. Now if you just add up the loss days only well the story changes a bit: My losses add up to 21 days @ 20 lbs which = .95 lbs loss a day or almost a pound a day. I'll take that any day. At the end of 30 days that would be almost a 29 lb loss instead of my 17 lb loss so far. A real big difference. I am confident it could and should happen.

As mentioned I am toying around with the idea of yet another WOE, not a Diet per say. I am also toying with the idea of giving this diet another 30 days with a slight adjustment that is allowed. It might do the trick and will put me back to a way that I am more used too. I know it does not make sense without the details. It's all in the details.HA!

Hey I still have 3 days. Lets see what I can squeak out of this road that I have chosen to follow. The Diet that I am now on and the WOE I am thinking about are really different from each other, but cross roads in a few places. Sure it does not make sense at this time, but just a few days away and all will be told. I won't keep the other WOE a secret Experiment, although it has a nice ring of mystery lol! I don't want to be a tease. So of course I will explain it at that time regardless if I attempt it or not.

I'll buy that for a dollar:

Results thus far:

(Please let me know if I mess up on my math below, I might add or subtract incorrectly)

Day 1 = (0) 0.0 lbs
Day 2 = (-)  0.2 lbs = loss   0.2 lbs
Day 3 = (+) 2.0 lbs =  gain  1.8 lbs
Day 4 = (-) 1.2 lbs  = gain   0.6 lbs
Day 5  = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss   0.4 lbs (bonus time)
Day 6 =  (-) 1.2 lbs = loss   1.6 lbs (it's only going to get better)
Day 7 =  (-) 1.6 lbs = loss   3.2 lbs (twice as nice)
Day 8  =  (-) 1.0 lbs = loss  4.2 lbs (I'll take it)
Day 9  =  (-) 1.0 lbs =  loss 5.2 lbs (just a pound? oh well)
Day 10 = (-) 0.6 lbs = loss  5.8 lbs (only half a lb? I give up lol)
Day 11 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss  6.8 lbs (give me more)
Day 12 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss  7.8 lbs (I said GIVE ME MORE)
Day 13 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss 8.8 lbs (someone is not listening to me)
Day 14 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss 9.8 lbs (OK mouth shut)
Day 15 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss 10.8 lbs (I know, I know)
Day 16 = (-+)  0 lbs = loss 10.8 lbs ( just don't know)
Day 17 = (-)  0.2lbs  = loss 11 lbs (good grief)
Day 18 = (-+) 0 lbs = loss 11 lbs (Think Positive)
Day 19 = (+)   1 lb =  loss 10 lbs (what a bummer)
Day 20 = (-+) 0 lbs = loss 10 lbs (OK)
Day 21 = (-) 1.2 lbs = loss 11.2 lbs (Confused? I am)
Day 22 = (-) 1.6 lbs = loss 12. 8 lbs (Huh?)
Day 23 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss 13.8 lbs (back on track)
Day 24 = (-) 0.8 lbs = loss 14.6 lbs (not a peep)
Day 25 = (-) 1.0 lbs = loss 15.6 lbs (nice)
Day 26 = (-) 0.6 lbs = loss 16.2 lbs (hum, hum, hum)

Day 27 = (-) 0.8 lbs = loss 17 lbs (upward a little)

  2. Sorry about yesterday miscalculation… well I calculated correctly then wrote it wrongly…

I think I am getting a sense of what your experiment is all about. Which brings up the concept that ZC is not only "not eating carb"... There are also some sort of "rules" about how to "eat no carb". And, as sad as it seems, following these rules is very important. Well, "weight loss wise". But I am not sure these same rules apply "health wise". Interesting question…
