WHAT A GLORIOUS SUNDAY MORNING!!!

WHAT A GLORIOUS SUNDAY MORNING !!!

It seems I am having a very nice weekend after all…

Well the results are talking for themselves:

Day 1 of 3 = (0)    = lbs loss of current weight    164.4 lbs
Day 2 of 3 = (0.8) = lbs loss of current weight    163.6 lbs
Day 3 of 3 = (0.5) = lbs loss of current weight    163.2 lbs

Now I just have to see what will happen with weight on Monday morning and a have a regular 4 days of ZC food until Thursday. It will be interesting to see if any lbs come back on or if I am able to maintain…

Anyway, the 5BTZC is teaching me so much about the “nonsense of overeating”… a step more into understanding the strength of this fabulous ZC WOE!!!

Hope all a relaxing Sunday,

Denis

  1. i think i finally get it. you are trying to find the balance of zero carb and portion control via the 5bdzc.

i agree with a comment you made to dave in which you talked about the all you can eat zero carb. i agree that all you can eat zero carb is not a good thing. eating to when you are satisfied and not stuffed has worked for me and i have never had a weight gain or bad results on my labs.

    1. Many thanks for your comment and understanding!!!

It makes me feel good knowing some folks like you manage not to overeat on ZC but this seems to be ONE of my problem… I repeatedly tried to "stop eating when satisfied" and it seems it is not enough…

Maybe I need something more structured like the actual experiment of "3 days per week of the 5BDZC" or any other portion control…

I will continue my quest and report!!!

  2. I like your approach to all of this. Take your time and analyze all the information you are collecting and let us know your thoughts. Thanks for sharing, it really helps us understand a good balance of zc and and portion control.~Maryzc~

    1. Oh yes… I will, as you says so well, analyze all the information and come back with my thoughts…

I am not doing this "out of nowhere' as I tend to use the existing science about what I am trying to figure out the good balance.

But as there are ZERO RESEARCH done on ZERO CARB at the actual moment on this green earth, we sometime have to be the guinea pigs…..

      Stay tune,

  3. Great mini experiment Denis. You make a great addition to this blog. I really nice balance. I can see this blog moving forward from a personal journal to something bigger. Too bad most people just don't get it. It is like addiction to carbs has run rampant.

It kills me to see governments local and national supporting ways of eating that is detrimental to ones health and even penalizing employees for not complying with eating programs through health insurance rates. That happened at my company and I had to lie and claimed that I ate a balance diet that included fruits, veggies and grains. So much for freedom.

    1. You are right on this one: we sadly have to lie sometimes about our diet or we can get into big trouble…

As Dr. Mary Vernon says it so well, and she is an authority in the LC word and an outstanding physician, she suggests patients that gets STATINS prescribed by there doctors to take the prescription, without saying a word, and not get it filled… arguing someone can loose his health insurance if he do not agree to get his cholesterol treated...

This has been the path of many people in human history while they were trying to make a point about any new approach… But let's not get this to distract our journey.

As Dave says it so well, we sometimes have "to go dark" on ZC……..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
