Day 3 Zero Carb Diet-2nd-Try

Hello everyone,

I had another tough day with cravings. It was not as bad as yesterday. My stomach is still not back to normal yet, but it is much better than yesterday too. I still have the runs. Again not as bad as yesterday. So all in all not a great day, but a better day. I hope for a better day tomorrow. I am confident that my body is getting used to this way of eating again. That's it for now.

Day 1   - 242.0 lbs (start weight)
Day 2   - 241.0 lbs
Day 3   - 240.5 lbs

Fluids - water, seltzer, plain black coffee

1st meal  - 8 oz beef brisket

2nd meal - 4 large pan fried chicken legs

Thanks,

Connor

  1. In my experience, when falling off the wagon, getting rid of the cravings is a faster process. Not that it is easier... Then, eventually, the "lockdown" of these cravings becomes more permanent. This is a normal process. But the no. 1 principle is to eat a lot of fat even if this can slow down the loss of weight. You are better off no loosing weight for days and having a lot of fat until the cravings are under control. And the best food item for this is... bacon!!! I do remember eating bacon wiht butter for 3 days in a row to get rid of cravings...

  2. Connor, I agree with Denis 100%!!! Just remember eating Zero Carb is a Lifestyle change not a quick weight loss plan. Weight loss is a byproduct along with good if not GREAT HEALTH.

Just like Denis suggested: pile on the fat even if it gives a little discomfort. You will get rid of the cravings and set you on the right track for Zero Carb. Don't worry about weight loss at the moment. Just get back on track.

    Cheers,

    Dave
